Project Management

Scheduling and executing projects in Additions is easy and intuitive as it provides a feature-rich interactive Gant chart software, powerful real-time reporting, and custom project dashboards and views that give managers complete visibility throughout the entire project.


Additions project management software allows estimating of the time and resources required to do a project, either from a template project or from scratch, then converts these hours into rates to give a suggested charge and indication of margin. Full budget to actual comparisons may be made at a glance from the project list with drill down facilities to individual cost level. Users may also configure Additions to automatically show a custom project list at log in, ensuring they have a live view into the job costing system of all jobs they are responsible for. Plus, Project Milestones on the Project Control screen may be set to warn the project managers of impending problems. You can set also set an alert on Hours or Costs – so that when costs reach 50% of those budgeted or hours are at 75% of what was quoted for, the system will send you an email alert.


Meanwhile, Additions provides Work In Progress management, and will provide all the data required for the monthly and year-end accounts. Costing methods may include working on gross margin, full overhead recovery costing or other methods. A full suite of project costing reports are standard and Crystal Report writer is included so as to allow nominated users to create their own bespoke reports.


From a project programme management point of view, all financial information relating to a project is summarised on a single screen, where actual costs accrued are shown against those quoted. The software is multi-screen, so more detailed information can be accessed from here by tabbing between the individual elements that comprise the summary, such as timesheets, expenses and purchase orders.


Additions provides simple profitability reports to complex work in progress calculations. If the report you require is specific to your business then a powerful Crystal Reports query and report tool is included to allow for total control over your project management information.
