Accounting for Projects

Full budget to actual comparisons may be made at a glance from the project list with drill down facilities to individual cost level. Users may also configure the built-in Additions accounting for projects software to automatically show a custom project list at log in, ensuring they have a live view into the project accounting system of all projects they are responsible for. Plus, Project Milestones on the Project Control screen may be set to warn the project managers of impending problems. You can set also set an alert on Hours or Costs – so that when costs reach 50% of those budgeted or hours are at 75% of what was quoted for, the system will send you an email alert.

 

All financial information relating to a project is summarised on a single screen, where actual costs accrued are shown against those quoted. The software is multi-screen, so more detailed information can be accessed from here by tabbing between the individual elements that comprise the summary, such as timesheets, expenses and purchase orders.
